Its pretty clear that these organizations have failed or not had the legal authority to do what they need to do. I think what this means to all of us. and the President and through the Treasury Secretary has said lets merge some of these together. That may be a good idea for efficiency purposes and it may be a good idea in term of creating a better form of regulation. But its like reorganizing the chairs on the Titanic. or even creating the Department of Homeland Security by putting Immigration and FEMA in there. It isnt always necessarily a better idea to just merge everything together. I am all for efficiency.
