Now. they are saying the right rhetorical things. Theyre saying that nobody above 300 percent of poverty is going to get a benefit. but they then disregard the enforcement mechanisms that would enforce that. They say in section 605 that no illegal alien is going to get a benefit. but then they change the enforcement mechanisms so that if somebody has a Social Security card and a name to it. thats all they have to do to prove citizenship. and the Social Security Administration. rightfully so. says that is really not a proof of citizenship if you are able to get a Social Security card. And they claim that theyre going to take the adults off the program within a year. but according to the CBO. at least a half million adults are still going to be on the program in 5 years. So its the same bill with a little bit different paint.
