We are losing everywhere. You can take pieces of each and pick and choose which might make you more comfortable politically. but it doesnt work that way. It is all wrapped into the same enigma. It is woven into the same fabric. That is what we are dealing with. It is leadership to take on the tough issues. Immigration is one of those issues which tests and defines a society. It tests and defines a country. And the precious glue that has been indispensable in holding this country together for over 200 years has been common interests and mutual respect.
