Session #110 · 2007–09

Speech #1100110833

When we look at the lowskilled workers. the unemployment rates go over 10 percent. well over 10 percent. American citizens are being bumped from jobs. those jobs. Lowskilled. undereducated American citizens who were born here and naturalized here are being bumped from those jobs by illegal aliens who are taking those jobs cheaper. Of course they can. In fact. they have to. because some of the job market October 23. 2007 CONGRE they cant compete in. in the legitimate part of the job market. So they all come in and work cheaper. but on the other hand they dont have the risk of liabilities that go along with steady employment like a citizen does with a regular address who has the obligations to make their contributions to the Federal Government. to the State government and to the local government.
