I would like to thank the chairman and the ranking member of the subcommittee for providing one of the largest increases in funding for community health centers which include migrant health centers. health centers for the homeless. and public housing health services. Community health centers particularly impact medically underserved communities which can be in urban settings like New York City or in the most frontier of all States. my home State of Alaska. I am pleased that the bill before us today recognizes the importance of community health centers and provides $2.26 billion in funding for the program. But what about staffing these facilities?
