Res. 635. a bill recognizing the commencement of Ramadan. and commending Muslims everywhere for their faith. I have always admired the unwavering commitment Muslims show towards their faith during the holy month of Ramadan. It has been an honor to join many of my Muslim friends during this month of family togetherness. selfless service. worship and spiritual rebirth. As the grandson of immigrants. I know true assimilation means preserving tradition while achieving success. I am in awe at how quickly the MuslimAmerican community has mastered both.
