The gentleman from Georgia had filed in this amendment to offer to the Native American housing bill to prevent illegal immigrant Native Americans from sneaking in. And when we pointed that out. the gentleman from Georgia for once thought better of it and didnt offer the amendment. I think he was afraid that the Indians would have said. you know. sir. thats a good idea. why didnt we think of it?
