When they talk about reform of our patent system. what theyre really talking about is destroying the patent system and weakening its protection. They couldnt pass it otherwise. There are some real problems that need to be solved with our patent system. Unfortunately. the legislation making its way through the system does not correct the problems. just as the comprehensive amnesty bill or comprehensive immigration bill didnt solve the problems. The problems are being used as an excuse to act. But the proposed changes are aimed at a totally different and indefensible goal. It is a power grab. a classic power grab where we are not having an honest debate. an honest exchange of ideas with the American people.
