The name of the program that accomplishes this same end is the Vocational Rehabilitation State Grants Program. The goal of the gentleman from New Jersey. I dont believe. is to eliminate the ability to have appropriate programs for migrant and seasonal farm workers. That is not the goal at all. The goal is to responsibly spend hardearned taxpayer money in accomplishing the appropriate priorities of the Federal Government. So to have anybody come to the floor and say that anybody who would support this amendment desires to end the programs for migrant and seasonal farm workers is simply not true and not the case. and it doesnt appropriately represent the amendment of the gentleman from New Jersey.
