I compliment the Senator from Florida for his statements. Had we more time. all of us could tell our own stories. Mine involves two immigrant parents. My father came here at 18. in 1911. and contributed to this country. My mother came with her family at the age of 6. in 1906. and contributed to this country. I thank the Senator from Florida. Senator MARTINEZ. who has a special story to tell because he himself is an immigrant and is a great testament to what we are trying to accomplish with this bill. I yield 3 minutes to the Senator from Arizona. who has made such a unique contribution to this bill. coming from a border State and facing irate calls. not that they are necessarily representative of all of Arizona. He said he learned some new words.
