Just as we respect the rights of the objectors to raise the objections they have. we have rights. too. The way we are proceeding is fully within the rules of the Senate. It is going to be a rough ride. We are in trench warfare. and it is going to be tough. But we are going to see the will of the Senate work one way or another. I hope. as I said earlier. my colleagues will. on the merits. take a close look at a comparison between the legislation we will produce with the unacceptable. unsatisfactory anarchy we have in immigration law today.
