So it shouldnt be a surprise when cloture isnt invoked on these bills that dont go through the committee process. The only chance for the person who is not in the coalition to have any kind of a voice is at the time of cloture. Both of these bills. both the immigration bill and the card cheek bill. have not been through committee. The main bill I am talking about is the Employee Free Choice ActI have to give them a lot of credit for picking a good name. Ironically. however. it is not about free choice. it is about taking away free choice.
