One of the proposals. I say to my friend. was to start immigration on Monday and maybe some other odds and ends around here on this matter. The other proposal Senator MCCONNELL and I have talked about is starting everything Tuesday morninig. We would arrive at the same end time. It would just be we wouldnt have to be in session with people standing around guarding to make sure somebody isnt going to do something when the quorum call is on. We could wind up at the same place and accomplish just as much. That doesnt take away how difficult it is going to be once we get on immigration. There are meetings being held on that today and progress is even being made. I suggest the absence of a quorum.
