I say to my dear friend from a neighboring State of Nevada. we are tryingand I have had a number of conversations this afternoon with the Republican leaderto see if we can expedite the time. It is very possible that we could move forward on this legislation and not have to work the weekend because a lot of the weekend would be spent just standing around. If we can accomplish what we need to do without a lot of standing around time. we would be better off. and then we can move early next week to finish the debate on immigration. We have a limited number of items left to do. We have to finish the germane amendments.
