But even those that remain here are going to have downward pressure on their wages because they are competing with others in other parts of the world who are willing to work for less. My point is simple. This immigration issue and guest worker issue is the reverse side of the same coin: the outmigration of American jobs and the inmigration of cheap labor. This is about money. It is about profits for big economic interests.
