We all know that. Let me describe my Harvard economistmy Harvard economist. Professor George Borjas. Here is what he says. The impact of immigration between 1980 and 2000 on U.S. wages is lower wages in this country. and he describes which ethnic group is hurt the worst. Hispanics are hurt the worst and Blacks next. My colleague says that his Harvard economist states that one of the benefits of bringing in this additional labor from outside of our country is lower costs. Well. in my hometown. I understand what lower costs means. It means they are going to pay less to the people making it.
