Mr. President. I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today. it stand adjourned until 9:30 a.m.. Wednesday. May 23. that on Wednesday. following the prayer and pledge. the Journal of proceedings be approved to date. the morning hour be deemed expired. and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day. that there then be a period for the transaction of morning business for 60 minutes. with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each. with the time equally divided and controlled. with the majority controlling the first half and the Republicans controlling the final half. that at the close of morning business. the Senate resume consideration of S. 1348. the immigration bill.
