No one is trying to get an advantage over anyone else with this piece of legislation. We have blame for both Democrats and Republicans. But whatever we do in the Senate is not the last word. After we complete the legislation. the House will have to do something on that. They will come up with what they feel is the best way to handle immigration. We will then go to conference. During these entire three steps. we will be working with the White House to try to come up with something to fix a broken system. Now. are we going fix it perfectly?
