I predicted that is what the plan was last week several times. and it does look as if that is where we are going. So we have a flawed process. I suggest. in a lot of ways. and it should cause the American people to be troubled and Members of the Senate to be troubled. 1 dont deny that the people who attempted to work on the legislation. draft this new bill. are good people. good Senators. but they put themselves in a situation. based on what I see of their results. in which the document does not have the strength. the effectiveness needed to be a solution for our immigration problems today. I wish it was different. I wish I could say it is something we could be excited about and should support.
