Speech #1100049489

So what it implies by a compromise is that there are some things in it that I wholeheartedly support. There are some things that I might have liked to have seen differently. At the end of the day. that is how legislation is made. That is how it happens. We all give a little. and we end up someplace where we can move the country forward and provide the country with a way to resolve this very difficult issue that we call immigration. One of the notions I would appreciate dispelling is the fact that this is a White House bill. It is not.
