We need several billion more to finish the whole project. But we should take their advice. Its past time we strengthen operational control of our borders and ports through additional physical barriers and fencing and greater use of stateoftheart technology and surveillance across our entire border. The border fence is needed. its needed now. so one of my goals. and I am sure the caucuss goals. is to ensure that the fence gets the funding it needs and that the entire 700 miles gets built as the act that was signed into law says it should be built.
