I dont know where our free marketeers are on that. but I can tell you that is a fact. It is working against the interests of American workers. Professor Borjas at Harvard. who has written perhaps the most authoritative book on immigrationhimself an immigranthas concluded that he believes the wages of the lowestskilled American workers. high school dropouts. have been impacted negatively by 8 percent as a result of our current immigration policies.
