Mr. Speaker. I rise today in honor of James Joseph Rush. in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Trial Court and to commend him for 43 years of dedicated service. The son of John and Mary Rush. immigrants from County Mayo. Ireland. James was born on February 9. 1931 in Bostons Mission Hill neighborhood. As a youth. James was very active in the Sacred Heart Church in Roslindale. MA. and served as the first president of the Boston Archdiocesan ChiRho Association. After graduating from Roslindale High School. James enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country honorably from 1951 to 1955.
