I am a member of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee. have been since we established the Department of Homeland Security. Some things I can say. some things I cant say. There are a lot of people in this country we dont want here. because we are free. because there are 2.000 miles along the MexicanU.S. border. because there are 5.500 miles along the CanadianU.S. border. because there are 12.000 miles of U.S. coastline. because there are 328 million people that come across our land border crossings each year. because there are 71 million people that come in through our international airports from all over the world. There are 157 land ports of entry. We have a lot of people coming and going from this country. and now there are a lot of people in this country that. the truth is. we dont want them here. that because we are a free country and they havent yet done anything wrong here. we dont remove them.
