The Secure Fence Act will take the necessary steps to give our Border Patrol agents the tools they need to regain control of our borders so they can protect our country. This legislation authorizes additional fencing as well as stateoftheart technology and surveillance equipment to help us regain control of our borders. The Secure Fence Act tells the American people we are serious about getting control of our borders. stopping illegal immigration and securing our country. It is appropriate legislation. It will help get the job done. and I urge its passage.
