I feel it is my obligation not as a Member of Congress but as an American to be able to come to this floor and say that it is just not happening. We can talk about the facts. and like we do every night we talk about the facts. We have the vote number. down to the vote number when we start talking about border protection. No one can come on this floor in the Republican majority side and say that we have done an outstanding job as it relates to protecting our borders. period. dot. They cannot because they have not done it.
