It took a long time for womens suffrage. for women to have the right to vote. and to move into the upper echelons of all facets of American life. There is. realistically viewed. still a glass ceiling which imposes some limitation. Now on to Mr. Holmes and his very excellent qualifications. He graduated from Wake Forest University cum laude in 1983 and the Georgetown University Law Center in 1988. At Georgetown. he served as editor in chief of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. In the year 2000. he earned a masters in public administration from Harvards Kennedy School of Government. Between college and law school. he worked as a social services assistant in the D.C.
