This is a program overseen by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. It is a good publicprivate partnership that has the public component to ensure that seniors are not taken advantage of in these transactions. So it is a good win for our seniors. it is a good win for our border security. as well as getting rid of a very bad policy which is catch and release. So again. the point of germaneness has not been made. and maybe on second thought we will see that the actual public policy benefits of getting something done here in the U.S. Senate. of increasing border security. as well as improving the living conditions of our seniors. will be a good onetwo punch to accomplish here today in the U.S. Senate. I hope we can do that.
