In the scheme of things. the money we spend is not that great. but it is important for us to do it correctly. I will be offering amendments that will deal with five different areas. Those amendments will be offset. will not add additional spending to the budget or increase the debt in any way. We will set some priorities. We will set some choices. That is what the people pay us to do. What do we need? We need strategic fencing and vehicle barriers at the border. We need an interior investigative agent increasethat is for the ICE agents. the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents--to increase worksite enforcement. We need to increase the detention bed spaces. Detention beds are critical.
