The amendment (No. 4621). as modified. is as follows: (Purpose: To require the Secretary of Homeland Security to conduct tests of unmanned aerial vehicles for border surveillance along the border between Canada and the United States) On page 127. between lines 2 and 3. insert the following: SEC. 540. Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act. the Secretary of Homeland Security shall establish and conduct a pilot program at the Northern Border Air Wing bases of the Office of CBP Air and Marine. United States Customs and Border Protection. working expeditiously with the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration to test unmanned aerial vehicles for border surveillance along the international marine and land border between Canada and the United States.
