That is why I bring my amendment to the floorto stop this idiocy and lunacy. My amendment is simple. Stop that escalating practice by the Customs and Border Protection of seizing personally used. FDAapproved medicines from American citizens reentering the country. My amendment would do this by simply prohibiting funds from being used for this Customs and Border Protection activity. Let me reiterate some very important things about this amendment. First of all. it would do nothing more and nothing less than allow our own citizens who are reentering our own country to be able to possess FDAapproved prescription medicines for their own personal use with a legitimate doctors prescription.
