So they want us to get in here and complete our work on securing this border. to look at the options that are out there. As we heard from some of our Border Patrol agents. put our focus on intelligencedriven. threatbased mechanisms. Look at what it takes to integrate electronic surveillance. human surveillance. and physical barriers. And we heard from some of the sheriffs that. yes. indeed. physical barriers work. and they were happy to give us plenty of information about how it had driven down crime.
