This is not to say that the Department does not have very conscientious. hardworking. dedicated public servants. It does. It has a panoply of themthose folks who are on the front lines on the border. whether they are immigration officers or border agents. the people in TSA who are working very hard to try to straighten out the lines in the airport and still provide security. the Secret Service. the Coast Guard. FEMA people trying to answer the problems of a small flood or issues with what happened in New Orleans. These people are all working very hard. but there is a systematic failure within this Department which is massive.
