This has come up time and time again in front of this House. We have cities all over this country that are ignoring the law. It is part of the law today that says you cannot have sanctuary cities. and yet cities are doing it. and they are snubbing their noses at the Federal law. And as a result of it. crimes are being committed. People have been killed as a result of the fact that cities provide sanctuary for people who are here illegally. have come in contact with the police. and the police have refused to make that known to the ICE agency.
