It is illegal to enter the United States in any form or fashion without proper identification. First crossing carries a possibility of a fine and up to 6 months incarceration. But normally and properly. most of these people are just removed. Harboring an undocumented alien under the bill we are operating under now carries a fine and imprisonment of up to 5 years. Alien smuggling carries a fine and imprisonment of up to 10 years. Any crime that causes serious bodily injury or places the life of anybody in jeopardy. and that includes the person being transported. it carries a penalty and fine of up to 20 years imprisonment.
