Alan Blinder. a respected Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. said there are 42 million to 56 million American jobs at this point subject to outsourcing. Those not outsourced are still going to be required to compete with others in the world who make a great deal less money. That is not the way we are going to continue to build the economy we believed we were building for the last century. I am not suggesting putting walls around our country. I am not a xenophobe. I am not an isolationist. I am not one who believes trade is not worthy.
