I think our differing views have been aired. And I think there has been a fair consideration of the bill on the floor of the Senate. But no one is talking about the underlying cause of the problem of illegal immigration in our country. What can we do about the root cause of the problem? Most of the people who are coming herenot counting the criminals--the people who come here to do criminal acts. such as drug dealers and human traffickers. people who come into our country surreptitiously to become a part of a movement that would harm our citizens. those people are in a different category.
