It is that we dont have the resources we need to catch them. A month ago. I was on the border. I saw some of the problems which the overworked Border Patrol agents face. At San Ysidro. it is hard to comprehend. but there are 24 lanes of traffic coming into the United States 24 hours a day. 7 days a week24 lanes of traffic one way. They are understaffed and underresourced. They simply cant handle it. It can be handled. but they need the resources to do it. But it is more than people whom we cant catch coming across our borders.
