It does not mean you have to give up your culture. I mean. we know that. We appreciate the great variety of subcultures we have here in America. and it is an evergrowing and changing thing. And I would say also. Mr. Speaker. that we have an extra blessing. The filter system that we have had here in America for immigrants is something we do not talk about very much. But. by and large. throughout history. the people who came to the United States legally came here and I think knew why they came here. They knew what they wanted to leave.
