"We may be a Nation of immigrants. but the majority of Americans were born here and their parents were born here. My great. great. great. great. great Grandfather John C. Hale was killed at the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836 defeating Santa Anna and Mexico (and thus making Texas an independent country).
