There is nothing "robust" about that. How serious are we about port security. when the President. the Vice President. the Secretary of Defense. and the Secretary of Homeland Security dont even know about the decision to sell the operation of six U.S. ports to a Stateowned foreign company? How serious are we about port security when Customs and Border Protection inspects only 5 percent of the 11 million containers that come into the country each year? How serious are we when the Coast Guard Deepwater budget for replacing its ships. planes. and helicopters will not be completed until 2026? The administration has not requested one thin dime for port security in this $92 billion supplemental.
