And the distinguished majority leader said we will see how the vote goes. I think that is really important. that we see how these votes go. I would hope that the night will bring the confidence that we can move forward and invoke cloture on the Martinez bill and finish this legislation. There are still votes that would be valid postcloture on that. I also make this commitment: If cloture is not invokedand I think that would be a terrible disservice to this countryI will continue to work on immigration reform. This is something that has to be done. It has to be done.
