One was introduced by Senator CORNYN and myself. a comprehensive bill that doesnt round up everybody and send them back but criminalizes everyone. I think to engage in this debate we should engage with reason and without mischaracterizing things. There are good enough reasons to oppose each others bill without mischaracterizing them. If I have ever mischaracterized anythingI hope I haventI apologize for it. The Senator from Massachusetts said something else that is very important. He said it was a necessity to have an incentive for illegal aliens to come out of the shadows. and the bill that he and others had crafted provided this potential for citizenship to provide that incentive. That is one approach. I disagree with it.
