Element No. 1. the committee bill takes every illegal alien in the United States who pays $1.000 and was employed before January 7. 2004whether full time. part time. seasonally or selfemployedand puts that person on a direct path to citizenship. The family of the illegal aliens. their spouse and children. would also be given amnesty. even if they are not already in the United States. They would now be able to come and come legally.
