Mr. Speaker. I rise today to honor Ms. Angelita "Angie" Mont OBrien. of Pasadena. CA. Each year in March. in recognition of Womens History Month. we pay special tribute to the contributions and sacrifices made by our Nations women. Born in Los Angeles. where her parents had emigrated from Spain. Angie attended Los Angeles and Pasadena public schools. She received a bachelor of arts from the University of California Los Angeles in 1953. a masters degree from California State University Los Angeles in 1963. and a California Elementary Teaching Credential. Angie taught in the Pasadena Unified School District. PUSD. for over 40 years.
