There are many aspects of this bill that I support. I believe we should improve security along the border. Every nation in the world should control their borders and know who is crossing their borders. That is why I cosponsored the Border Security Act last Congress with our former colleague Jim Turner. I believe we should prevent immigration officials from having to catch and release detainees because there are not enough detention beds and holding facilities.
