A just and permanent way for him to step down must be found. The longer he remains. the longer turmoil. unrest and killing will continue in eastern Europe. It is never an easy decision for a Member of Congress to decide to vote in favor of sending American men and women into a possibly dangerous situation. I believe. however. that once a peace agreement is reached---if it is reacheddeploying NATO troops to the region to keep the peace. prevent the conflict from spreading and prevent destabilizing refugee outflows into neighboring countries is the only way to ensure stability in Europe. Stability in Europe is in the best interest of the United States.
