These are goodpaying jobs. and it is a great opportunity for young people to know that there is a future in high technology. We need to win this fight. If we do not find a way to fill these jobs. we are going to lose out. If we want to compete globally. we have to fill these jobs with qualified workers. This legislation. which provides HIB visas. raises the caps. will help us fill those positions as we work to prepare more Americans to fill these jobs in the future. I am also proud this compromise between the White House and this Congress also increases protection for American workers. It is a good compromise.
