And it happens simply because the current H2A system wont supply the kind of labor that is necessary. Lets be humane and lets be responsible. Lets move the AgJOBS bill introduced today. so it can be signed on the Presidents desk and become law this year. It is critically necessary that we do this. We have reached out to the Department of Labor to work with them and be sensitive to their concerns in the crafting of this legislation to streamline the H2A program. We have tried to anticipate and answer every objection that might be raised to this kind of reform. We have tried to solve problems before bringing this bill to the floor.
