I am hopeful. and I know the Senator from Texas is sincere in what he is trying to doI happen to disagree with him. deeply disagreethat we ought to carve out asylees and refugees from the food stamp provisions of this bill. Be that as it may. I still suggest that this amendment really is a basic amendment that will kill this bill.
